LDAP 基本知識
- LDAP server will be listening on TCP port 389 which is the standard LDAP port.
- LDAP is not
- A general replacement for relational databases
- A file system for very large objects
- Optimal for very dynamic objects
- Useful without applications
- A stand-alone server called Slapd. Slap was followed by a second service called Slurpd.
- In a nutshell:
- Information in LDAP is logically represented as entries.
- Entries belong to one or more object classes.
- Each object class is defined by a set of attributes.
- An attribute consists of a type and one or more values.
- Object class and attribute type definitions make up the schema.
